Scouting for Food is a nationwide event and a  major source of resupply for the area food banks whose shelves are sparse this time of year. This is a valuable service project for our community and scouts. We need a lot of volunteers tomorrow.

Tomorrow morning will be part two of Scouting for Food. We will meet at GBE at 8:45 to begin collection.

Once scouts return from the neighborhood, we will sort the collected items for the Boy Scouts to load up. There will be some refreshments there for the scouts once they return from collection.

We need boxes! We need many standard sized boxes. I’m talking about paper ream boxes, banker boxes, etc. to sort all the food collected.
