Law? A Scout knows good manners make it easier for people to get along together. The word “courteous” is an old English word that comes from the time of knights. Many associate chivalry and graciousness with a knight in shining armor because of their code of conduct. The knight’s code of conduct extols these virtues, ensuring that a Cub Scout in shining armor will exhibit courtesy to all.
Our annual Scouting for Food drive will be the next two Saturdays. We will meet in front of GBE at 9 a.m. each Saturday.
Each year the cub scouts, their siblings (parents too) and some of our local Girl Scouts are invited to our Pinewood Derby Car Cutting Clinic sessions. These sessions are designed to teach the kids about some of the tools used, safety and to provide tips on design and construction of their cars for the big race (January). We get an early start so that everyone get get their car started before the weather around the shop turn cold. You will get some of the rough work done at the clinic and then take your car home to complete the sanding and painting.

Pack 1863 is looking for some help this weekend. With two BIG events this Friday and Saturday, we need some additional support from the Pack Family. Follow the link below to help out!
