Thank you to everyone for supporting our Pack 1863 Bake Sale this year! You did an amazing job and we raised enough funds to help us continue to support and build our scouting program for the boys.
Tonight we have our May Pack Meeting at 7 p.m. Some of our Dens will also be earning their Rank Advancements. We only have 1 more Pack meeting after this, can you believe it?!
We are looking for more volunteers for our Bake Sale on May 13th. We need lots of baked goods and Cub Scouts to help raise money for our Pack. Please take a few minutes to sign up and volunteer for next weekend. Thank you for your support!
My Animal Friends
A Scout Is Kind. How Does “My Animal Friends” Relate to This Point of the Scout Law? A Scout knows there is strength in being gentle. It is important to be kind to all creatures great and small. This month we will explore ways to be kind to our animal friends.
Your help is desperately needed for the Bake Sale. We need more scouts signed up to run the booth AND many, many, many Baked Goods. Please consider donating your time and hard work, it is very much appreciated!
This weekend’s Landscaping project at GBE will have to be postponed unfortunately. We are working with the landscape company and GBE to reschedule in the next few weeks. Sorry for any inconvenience. We will announce the new date as soon as we have it set.
Next month is our Annual Bake Sale which will be held Saturday May 13, 2017 from 10 am till 6 pm at the Giant @ Greenbriar Town Center.
This event can only be successful with everyone helps! Please consider volunteering your time and donating bake goods!
We need enough scouts to man our shifts and LOTS of baked goods to help raise the funds necessary to help run our Pack!
Thank You for your support!

10:00 a.m. (plan to be there at least 3 hours)
Sorry, Late Notice folks!
We do have a Pack Meeting tonight at 7 pm. We will be short some Leaders, but I have a pretty cool Science demo planned for the scouts. So don’t miss it!
Our annual Blue and Gold event will be this Friday night (March 10). This is the Cub Scouts “birthday party” and annual celebration of Cub Scouts. This year we will also be hosting our Arrow of Light and Crossing Over Ceremonies the same night. These ceremonies will recognize our 5th grade Webelo II scouts and celebrate their experience and hard work in the Cub Scouts. They can then do a Crossing Over ceremony which symbolizes their promotion from Cub Scouts and the beginning of their adventures as Boy Scouts. Please join us in celebrating Cub Scouts and our Webelos. Thank you to the parents who have supported the boys and the pack throughout their journey!
Congratulations Webelo II scouts! Pack 1863 wishes you a fun and exciting adventure wherever it takes you!
Blue & Gold/ AOL (March Pack Meeting)

Tonight we have our February Pack Meeting at 7 p.m.
We have patches to hand out, games and a fun STEM activity planned for tonight’s meeting.
Friends Near and Far A Scout Is Friendly. How Does “Friends Near and Far” Relate to This Point of the Scout Law? A Scout is a friend to all. He is a brother to other Scouts. He offers his friendship to people of all races and nations, and respects the beliefs and customs of others. “Friends Near and Far” reminds us that we are part of something bigger than our own community. By living the Scout Law, we are accepting of the world’s peoples and their values.
